I'v got lead in my hand, is this bad for me?

Question:

I stabbed my hand with a pencil in 8th grade and it started bleeding, so now I'm graduating from high school and I can still see the lead there, is it bad? Or should I be proud?

I don't think it is lead if it is a pencil, that is probably graphite.

It shouldn't be too bad for you. I think I've gotten pencil stuck in me before too. If you have a lot of money and really feel like it-get it checked out or removed. Otherwise just watch it. If something bad really starts to happen, it should at least become inflamed.

It is not true lead. Pencils are made with graphite. It will not harm you. What you have basically now is a tattoo!
