Throat scratch from food very painful, how to relieve the pain??
Question:
It's been a month and i still have a lot of pain when i swallow. What can i do to relieve this? Doctor just said it could be muscles around throat are irritated, but i have had no relief in quite a while. He just gave me heart burn medicine, and anxiety medicine, but i have strong pain...it doesn't make much sense.
Will i get better?
Answers:
Lesson learnt? Always chew your food before swallowing.
Anyways, I have had experience in which when I ate too fast and gobbled my food, I had this weird scratchiness in my throat. I drank lots of plain warm water and I took honey by the dollops.
Hope that you will get better and if the problem persists, go to another doctor.
Good luck!
Gargle some warm salt water. That will re-open and clean any scratch you may have in your throat, so it will hurt, but its worth it. Also take a couple of tablespoons of honey everyday, the honey will coat your throat and help with any allergies you may have.
