Trouble breathing.?

Question: My girl is having trouble breathing when she lays down. She told me that when she coughs, it does NOT feel like anything is trying to come up (such as mucous). Does anyone know what this might mean? Please help!!

sounds like she needs to see a doctor! also, she should try propping herself up on a pillow when she sleeps. if she is really having bad problems breathing, take her to the er or call an ambulance immediately!

there are a lot of possibilities!

a dry cough can mean a viral infection

she might have bronchitis or asthma? any fever??

I would watch her closely and make sure it doesnt get worse and that it does pass in a day or two

a cough medicine for dry cough would help!

if it gets worse, she ahs a fever or doesnt get better in a day or two you need to seek medical advice

maybe its an alergy you should see a doctor some types of alergies may cause bronquial spasms. For a while maybe hot tea may help her breath right but thik about the doctor
