Why do the bottom of my daughters feet peel?

Question:
They don't do this all the time, just every once in a while. Not real bad, no blood or anything, just dead skin. Does not hurt at all.

Answers:
Mine do that, too. My Dr. told me it was no big deal and that I should go barefoot more often. Also, he advised me to buy and use one of those pumus foot scrubbers to use after I had been swimmimg and last thing in the shower after the skin on my feet had softened. Also, she shouldn't pull the skin off because eventually it will bleed- just let it come off with the scrubber or completely naturally.

mine too any answers?

could be;
viral infection.
autoimmune dysfunction
allergy to some chemical she treads on, wash feet often and check the floors she treads on barefoot My feet peel but in an unusal way. Usually I get bumps on my feet (they don't itch or anything) and within a week they turn to a small callous which eventually peels off. I went to the doctor when it first started happening and he had no idea what it was because it didn't fit the criteria to be an infection or warts. He actually prescribed a topical steriod which I used for a while but its a pain. Anyway it comes and goes but usually me feet are fine in the summer when I wear shoes the least. Hopefully if ur daughter walks around bare foot it will help.
