My acrylic nail got pulled back so hard it ripped off half of my real nail..help!?

Question:
The real nail is still attatched about a quarter of the way from the base. I soaked it in hydrogen peroxide when I got home, but now it's the next day and I'm in a lot of pain. Is it going to completely fall off or grow out? I will go to the doctor for his advice but I wanted to hear other experiences here first so please don't tell me to just go see my doctor. A girl told me to put nail glue under it..but that sounds really dangerous & kind of stupid. Has this happened to anyone else before and if so how did you treat it?

Answers:
Yes Deja-Vu. It is painfull. Try to see if you take it out slowley. Try by clipping it away little by little. If you try to get it off then leave it alone for about a month. Use anitbiotic ointment. What I do is I give my real nails time to breath. I won't put fake nails on for a while. They just completely damage your nails anyway. Try to do manicures. I know it looks good to have the acrylic but in the long run its not healthy. I see people with fungus and damaged nails and sometimes no nail. Cross your fingers that your real nail do grow.
if it looks hollow underneath the remaining, better just check it with doctor, it its red and swollen and still stickin to the skin, let it grow, watch out for ingrown toe, try not to put pressure or crowd it.
