Am I okay?

Question:
So today I went to the waterpark and the beach. When I got back to my hotel room, I noticed when I took deep breaths, it kinda tickled. My cousin said I had the "Dry heaves". He thinks I got it from swallowing to much pool water. The tickling has ended, but I am concerned. What can I do? Can I drink anything? Should I be worried/concerned?

Answers:
I have felt the same thing at times..this is just a guess.. but i think it could be a combination of the swimming which causes you to breath hard and the pressure of the water against your chest..causing your lungs to work harder.. i noticed that when i would breathe deeply i would get that tickle you are talking about..and it also caused me to cough when it happened..it went away the next day and i never had any lasting effects from it..and "dry heaves" are actually when your stomach spasms..(like you are vomiting) but nothing comes up.

You will be fine

You'll be fine unless you begin to cramp profusely and get nauseous! drink tea. if get worse see a doc. if you are really worried the go in and get it checked

Along with tickling, did it make a wheezing sound? You could have asthma, or an upper respiratory infection.

you should be fine if it comes back or gets wrose then i would either go out the the ER or see your family doctor

Sounds like semen. Dude, take a chill pill, you're fine. You sound like a nervous girl going to her first prom. Chill pill, rest, and call me in the morning.

Got that. now go. Go get your pill, and pillow, and phone.

R you a sissy, take it like a man!! It probably is from all the pool water you might have swallowed but i think youll be ok but if you are still concerned that it might be something serious go to the doctor and get it checked out just to be on the safe side.
