Why does my jaw and ears hurt?
Question:
Answers:
im not a doctor, but because of my condition ive done some research..and this could be a sign of tmj...temporo mandiublar joint.
ive had this for some time and it can be quite serious.
your lower jaw is connected to your head at this joint near your ears. if you are grinding your teeth or if you jaw is out of alignment, it can create a wide array of problems. from tinitis, ringing in the ears, i have that...to headaches, earaches, pain throughout the jaw and head..
its a really tricky thing to deal with because it differs with each patient, plus few healthplans cover this because there is no single cure that works for all patients.
i began with severe headaches, then i had this ringing in my ears,..the ringing has never stopped for the past 2 years... ..do not wait for it to worsen. see a ENT, ear nose throat, specialist and get an examination pronto
also, get to a dentist and get a night guard. it is a plastic mouthpiece, just like football players use to protect their teeth, except the dentist will have to fit one for you. mine cost $200. i cannot stress how important the night guard is..dont wait.
see your dr , welbutrin has several side offects which can be very harmful , so see a dr , asap
When you have pain in your ears, don't mess around with it. It could be an infection. Go to the doctors, please. As for the pain, perhaps you can take an over the counter pain reliever.
Congrats on quitting smokless tobacco.
