I cut my lip.bleeding like heck. How do I stop the bleeding?

Question:
It's been bleeding for like ten minutes now, and it won't stop. I gotta go out soon! Help! Thanks!

Answers:
Wrap a tissue/ paper towel/ whatever you have around your finger and apply hard pressure with 2 fingers. I don't just mean touch it, I mean squeeze it!
It should stop and clot, but it will most certainly sting if you have spicy foods, salt, lemon, etc. and may even start bleeding again if its aggravated, so try to avoid touching it or eating something irritating.
Since you don't want to go to the doctor, place and hold a paper towel over it, with pressure. It should coaggulate.
Use a tissue and apply hard pressure. It should stop quickly.
pressure and try ice it will shrink your blood vessels and help with swelling too
put on a glove and press your palm over the cut. It should slow down in about 15 minutes. Numbing helps too.
put a tissue or a napkin with cold water it should stop by that ! goos luck!
put some salt on it, burns a little, but stops the bleeding.
put a popcycle on it lol, no seriously apply something cold with some pressure, don't take asprin or products with asprin, caffiene, or drink alcohol they all thin your blood and it won't stop as quickly. it only takes a few minutes with some pressure and it should be ok.
HOLD PRESSURE ON IT , WITH A NAPKIN OR WASH CLOTH
If its bleeding as we speak just add a small piece of toilet tissue to it for about 15 minute and that should do it.
you have to put some salt or ice on a tissue and press on your lip with it
If you have been blotting it with cloth or paper and it is still bleeding you may need stitches. You have to hold the cloth on it and leave it there until it is fully clotted.
suck on an ice cube and facial wounds bleed more so if it dosen't after like 20 -30 mins then call ur doctor
You may need to get sutures(stitches.) Any type of head wound will have lots of bleeding, especially the lips since the vessels are near the surface. Try ice to the area first, if no luck go to the ER.
