whats damaged tissue?

Question: ive just got back from the hospital with my son who 9, his brother stood on his hand and ever since was very painfull!..he was xrayed and had no breaks and they have told me he has damaged tissue, its very painfull for him, can you tell me when the pain will ease off and he will be back to normal?

Answers:
5-8 weeks depending on what he eats,the muscle tissue needs to be repaired, i did that too my jaw a month ago and it feels the same still. Its Getting better though. its nothing to worry about. your a good mum
