stuburn man and pink eye?

Question: yes my man's eye has been red and watery and has been buggin him for a few days i didnt look at it till last night im really sure he has pink eye i told him he needs to go to the dr to get meds but he wont go and this morning he was complaing that he was haveing trouble seeing out of it what can i give him or covience him he needs to see a dr?

Go to a pharmacy and see if you can get some boric acid. Take about a 1/4 tsp and disolve it into a shot glass of warm water. Mash it up and take a cotton ball and apply to eye. Works great.

If it is only one eye, then it doesn't really sound like pink eye. Because of the highly contagious nature of it, it's almost impossible to not have it spread to your other eye. People tend to call any red eye "pink eye".
Anytime you have a red eye and there is a problem with vision, you must go to your optometrist ASAP! Call and they will usually work you right in to be seen. Tell your husband this does not follow the symptoms of pink eye and could be something very serious that could result if permanent vision loss. His optometrist needs to examine the eye under the slit lamp to find the source of the irritation.
