Wondering applying to med school will courses from a comm. college be taken or not taken as seriously?

Be sure to check and see if all your CC credits will transfer or be counted. Usually, with basic courses like math english and most beginning science, it is no problem. Be sure to get the "A's" that is what matter most. A super high MCAT score and a 3.2 GPA is not going to win against a high MCAT score and a 3.8 GPA when applying.
a good idea would be to ask the college or university you plan to go to if they will take the certain classes from the community college. Look at it this way, why wonder if they'll accept them after you take them when you can save money and ask before you take the classes. It will save you from having to take the classes over again.
