I have pains in my fingers when I bend them?

Unfortunately, arthritis can strike at any age. It would'nt hurt to make an appointment with your doctor to talk about this with him. I have had arthritis in my fingers since age 19 and at age 48, I now have it in my feet, back and neck. Do not despair though. There are many prescription drugs on the market now that can relief most if not all of your discomfort if this is your diagnosis. Whether or not you will be able to continue nursing, will be something you and your doctor will want to talk about.
it sounds like arthritis
i don't think it matters about age
arthritis can even be diagnosed in children (called juveinile arthritis) so no you aren't too young. Try alleve before moving on to prescription meds.
no it does not matter with age i am 32 and have it you can see an artho dr. there are things that they can give to help dont wait to long for your child.god bless you there is a home reamity my mom is tring you take a bottle of rubbing alchole and a brown bannana put the peeling in the bottle and rub on your joints it has helped her
As I read your post I thought of my Uncle. Apparently he was afflicted with a bad case of arthritis at age 16. He was in power mechanics in school and had to give it up as his hands hurt so badly.
My suggestion would be not to assume anything including arthritis. Our body changes all the time and adapt to the current situations. My first thought was are you sleeping in a damp space? It could be the dampness try a dehumidifier or a heater to warm up the space..
With a one year old your body is in constant motion, lifting, bending , carrying and watching. There is little time for rest. I find sleeping between wool blankets one below one above helps with the aches. Ask for help with raising your child and give your body a break once in a while to heal itself.
Sending you healing energy.
my shoulders hurt when I nursed because of the baby's weight. Try to prop him on a pillow for extra support. Also arthritis can hit at any age especially if you have ever had an injury to them
Something people don't think of very often is; the hands and the feet are the most abused parts of the body.. If you have pain in the joints it is highly suggestive you are having the formation of crystalline particles within the joint itself.. This is inviting arthritic joints.. You need to get those joints moving with rotary motion rather than up and down (flexing). You can use your other hand to move those joints.. just do it several times a day or whenever the symptoms show up again.. Or you can have someone else do it for you.
The shoulder soreness is suggestive of something else however. I would presume you to be a bit a creature of slouching. Picking up the young one adds a bit more strain to the area. Amplifying the condition. You may find a rolled up towel placed along the spine, then lying on it for a few minutes may prove to be beneficial.
