Does anyone have this kind of stomach pain?

Question:
Sometimes I get stomach pains which feels like it starts below the ribcage and the ONLY way it will go away is if I lie down for a few minutes. If I dont lie down asap after it starts, it will move to my chest. Its difficult to describe, it feels like a stabbing pain. At first its not bad but as it gets worse, it moves up to my chest and sometimes in the worst cases, I get nauseas and lightheaded and it almost feels like a heart attack, like a stabbing pain in my shoulder or neck. But this in ONLY if I dont lie down immediately after it starts in the stomach area. And as soon as I lie down it almost immediately goes away. I get this pain very unusually, some times more than usual, but I've noticed it comes while I am hungry, sitting for a long time, or when I am nervous.. not altogether, but Im usually either one when I get the pains. What is it?? Ive been to the doctor and they said it was probably acid reflux disease, but I dont think so. Im 22 yrs old, female.

Answers:
You didn't mention acid reflux that's when your stomach acid causes you to throw up while asleep it's bad for the esophagus and the backs of your teeth. The symptoms that you describe sound like heartburn; because, it's moving up the chest. You will need to make an appointment, but for the short term a 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda in a half glass of water should help. Also; some Tums or Rolaids wouldn't hurt.

did they mention maybe an ulcer?? an ulcer can be triggered my stress.I would go to a gastoenterologist and have a scope done.
Looks like these are pains prior or while you are having periods? If it is the case, it is pretty normal
It sounds like acid reflux. A friend of mine had the same symptoms though and had to have her gall bladder removed. She had to go to several different doctors until she found one who helped her. Don't let them just medicate you and put you back on the assembly line.
