Does anyone know what type of specialist to go too for wrist and hand?
Question:
Answers:
Try wearing a hand splint- this is very common in pregnany. (New mom tendonitis) If you are not breastfeeding take some otc antiinflamitories like aleve. If it does not get better go to your regular dr. Be careful how you are picking up the new baby. This can be making the problem worse. Hope you get better soon.

An osteopath or give a chiroprator a try.
You could start by finding a good orthopaedic doctor. There are also ones that specialize in hand/wrist problems, such as carpal tunnel syndrome, etc.
I'd try chropractor first, then orthopedic doctor who specializes in hands. If you go to chropractor, know that there are different style.. regular one who twist you into pretzels, and cracks and pops your bones, and what is called "GROSTIC" method chiropractors. "NUKA" method is similar. They do not pop and crack and are alot gentler.
orthopedic surgeon. just had surgery on my right hand last tuesday.
