How can you correct a drooping eyelid?

Question:
I am only 20 but I've had an eyelid that droops slightly most of my life. My eye doctor says my eye/vision is otherwise fine. Mostly I want it corrected for asthetic puposes. What can be done? What specialty of doctor do I see? (plastic surgeon, opthamologist, etc?)

Answers:
corrective surgeries like tarssorapphy will do the job for u dude..

Other Answers:
use crazy glue

Sticky tape? go for plastic surgeon

Plastic Surgeon, they can help you very easily. My friend got that done at around 45, it works, but it can be expensive and you might have to do it again but it does work very well. GOOD LUCK! luv~carly

My veterinarian could fix this..its done with dogs such as Sharpe's (spell?) and basset hounds that have excessive eyelid skin. Nothing to it.

Now if this is lazy eye, I'm not sure is surgery would help. First of all, I would like to say that, I don't have any medical experience. Second, doctor visits can be expensive. This is going to be more of a question than an answer for you. Have you consulted your folks yet? Any type of surgeries can be expensive. If you guys have a family doctor, consult your folks first and consult family doctor second.

Good luck !
