Laparoscopic roux n y GASTRICAL BYPASS I need urgently help?

My name is Gabriela , I been trying to apply to blue cross ppo plan in order for me to get this surgery done. they dont want to accept me, I need to know urgently what would be an insurance company who can provide me with coverage to get this procedure done? My life is at a high risk and it seems no one cares. only myself and I am desperated looking for help. please somebody walk me thru . Please.

I had a friend who had Gastric Bypass and had BCBS, she was only 19. She had to go through a year of trying diets to prove she couldn't lose weight and some therapy sessions to make sure she was ready for it. She also said BC was going to stop covering the surgery for young people.

GASTRICAL BYPASS ir rarely done today allthough i had to have it done 6weeks ago due to a failed opperation that was done 12years ago,you do not give reason for needing this opperation only that your at high risk,i suspect you have a weight problem leeding to your other problems so unless you have allready had a nisan fundiplcation opperation that is no longer working they are unlikly to do a bypass, they are more likely to do a stomach banding,this is far less intrusive a lot less dangerous for the patient and cost only a fraction of the price,but most insurance companies will not give you cover for a pre excisting condition,good luck, hope all turns out ok for you.

When you say my life is at high risk, what do you mean? Do you have heart disease or something? Have you really exhausted your efforts to lose weight? Have you tried alternative methods like hypnotherapy? Gastric bypass can be medically necessary, but does your own doctor agree with that? You have to find a doctor who can tell the insurance company that it's medically necessary to save your life.
