Do chewable Bayer Asprin really help prevent heart attacks?
Question:
Answers:
Dr. John Folts did the aspirin studies and yes it does reduce risk but only if you are not under stress. It is useless under stressful situations. In his further research he has found that Red Grapes and wines can do the same. He developed a extract from Grapes that works better than aspirin and it works when you are stressed. I can't list the product he developed because it is sold by a private manufacturer and it would be considered solicitation to list it here.

They thin the blood, people with high blood pressure, heart problems are prescribed one asprin a day by their doctor.
supposedly
Yes, but they lower the risks of heart attacks and strokes a little differently, depending on your sex. One baby aspirin a day is enough. One adult aspirin a day is way more than enough.
an aspirin a day keeps the doctor away
Yes, it is true. My cardiologist told me so. It is 50% more effective for males than females. Don't ask me why.
It is even recommended to take asprin right at the moment you believe you are having a heart attack.
yes any aspirin can help prevent heart attacks because they are a blood thinner they also lower your blood pressure but before you begin taking them on a regular schedule check with your doctor to make sure it wont interfere with any other meds you may be taking also what dose you should be taking if any is needed please do not self medicate it can cause more harm than good sometimes
asprin has actually been proven to prevent heart attacks. Bayer is just the most widely know asprin. I work at Bayer :)
All asprins work. It is contained in blood thinners suppossedly it gets rid of the collestorall but therye is some trouble with asprinrye disease. it seems that the esiest head ach medicine is bad it also can hurt your stomach that you cant feel
Asprin is a blood thinner, which may prevent you from having a heart attack. Only because your blood doesn't clot as easily. (a heart attack is a blood clot in your heart, basically) Asprin, being a blood thinner, also increases your risk of bleeding, so you should make sure you need it before taking it every day. As far "Bayer chewable asprin" goes, it's the same as regular asprin, no difference with it being chewable. Hope this helps, I was a nursing student, but not a doctor or anything.
They advise you to chew an Aspirin if you think you are having a heart attack. But for heart patients, or people who have had previous heart attacks, they recommend only the 81mg dosage daily, not the regular 250 mg that aspirin contains for headaches, etc, as it can cause bleeding in the stomach and more prone to bleeding in the brain.
No, aspirin does prevent heart attacks since there are other comorbid conditions to consider. Taking them may reduce your risk though. They do not thin your blood..that is a mistake that people think. They affect your platelets and help to prevent them from the "sticking together" thus, forming clots. Baby aspirins that are enteric coated are the best.
