Chiropractors in Reno, NV area?
Question:
Answers:
I am sorry I am not familiar with any dc's in that area. But.being one myself, I can give you some hints to look for. First you should see their office. Do they have a good staff? Is it a nice office? Then, choose something that is convenient. Chances are they will want you to have a treatment plan that consists of more than one treatment. So it should be easy for you to get to. Remember that all doctors work for you, so you are the one that decides what health choices you make, they just suggest what they think is best. You can always check your state board's website and they can tell you if a complaint has been made about any of the doctors you are considering.
Every patient is different just like every doctor is different. One doctor may be perfect for you and not for someone else. So don't be afraid to shop around. If you don't like your doctor, chances are you won't follow through with care and you won't get better!
There are about 20 different techniques for chiropractors, some are very gentle, some are a little more aggresive. Some chiropractors use a bunch of other therapies, some only use adjustments. Do what you feel most comfortable with. Feel free to write if you have questions. GOOD LUCK!

I went to a chiropracter for the past few years on and off.
Three different ones. Each had their own technique. But
I don't want my neck cracked, ever again !! I feel they made
my back worse..So, now I go to a physical therapist, they
are alot more gentle. Some people have really good results
though with chiro's. The choice is yours. Good luck..
