14 month old just drank some green food coloring, should I take her to the DR?

Question:

Answers:
All the above answers are great ! She should be fine and what a fun time will be had by all when she "poops".If she seems to be reacting call your Dr. or local poison control in the front of your phone book and they'll be happy to answer questions and relieve any concerns you may have.
One other suggestion, write this in her baby book.you'll both have a good laugh about it in a few years :)
My kids LOVE these types of stories of the silly things they did..like when my son drank dimetap.not so good when he had to drink "chalk" at the hospital.but she should be just fine.

Other Answers:
call your doctor or local emergency room and see what they suggest.

She should be fine it's non toxic. You could call the doctor, i dont think it's such a huge necessity to go to the ER because food coloring is non-toxic and edible. It's a food additive.

call before you go because foood coloring is eatable.

ROFLMAO! Sorry that is funny but no, no need to take her to the dr. But her poop will be a vibrant green until it clears her system, maybe even her urine. Seriously no need to worry though.

call poison control in the emergency section of your phone book

should be fine though seeing as food colourig is intended for food prep.

She'll probably be fine but yes get her to the doctor or the local E.R ASAP, just to be on the safe side!! why are you asking a question concerning your child on a Yahoo website! call someone from a niebors phone. Ever think about that? If you're really worried take the kid to the ER. DUH!

Food coloring is non-toxic, but just to be safe read the back of label and see if you can ingest too much.

No.but her poop will be green for a few days. Think about it...FOOD coloring. Doesn't that mean "edible"?

No, food colouring is not harmful!. She should be fine although her poo will be green.

Please do not delay and rush to a doctor immediately. Take help from neighbours in case of emergency.

no.he /she will be alright. Food coloring should be okay.it's meant to be ingested (obviously not in large doses), but she should be fine
