Are the Boys more obsessed about sex than the Girls ?
Question:
Being a boy I know that boys talk about sex all the time.
No matter how strong relationship they (most of boys) are in they can be easily tempted for sex by a girl.
Its mostly boys who go to buy sex ( going to prostitutes etc)
I have never heard of any boy sexually abused by a girl.
Girls
Medically girls have 10 times more sex than boys ( i have read that at to many places but i'm not sure of the exact meaning of it).
Where ever girls have been given more freedom they have come up by taking it as a freedom to expose their body ( at least thats what I feel). The way they are dressed up and exposes their body(literally some times its too much) gives me an idea that my view that boys are more obsessed about sex is wrong,
Answers:
Boy and Girls are both biologically driven to think about sex. Neither has any more chance of NOT thinking about it than they do not thinking about eating or sleeping. Sex (reproduction) is one of the basic instinctual drives that have become hardwired into humans over the past several million years. While all of this thinking about sex stuff is primarily driven by our DNA, there are some differences in how the instinct has developed in men and women, how our cultures impact those natural drives and how boy and girls and men and women react to those instinctual drivers. Number one, women are biologically able to have only one child (a few more in the case of twins or triplets) every nine months, while a man could biologically participate in the conception of literally hundreds of babies during that same time. Becuase of that biological difference men's and women's instincts surrounding sex developed differently. Some scientist suggest that difference is why you often observe girls wanting a commited relationship with just one guy, while a often times, boys want to "play the field" and date lots of girls at the same time. Then you have to add to that the cultural pressures that have developed over time. In most cultures men who have multiple partners are held up as role models and women who do the same are frowned upon. So to answer your question, teen boys and girls probably think about this stuff the same amount but the actual thoughts they have are different.
Regarding your comment about girls "medically" having sex 10 times more than boys, I'm afraid you're mistaken. The numbers with repsect to how early and how often boys and girls have sex are very close.
