Calling all nurses, i need to know this?

Question:

when you got your first (and i mean first!) class/internship at a hospital for college credit in order to recieve your bachelors what would they make you do, how was your first day like?

Answers:
You will finally realize how much you DON'T know. Smile, take a deep breath, and don't look back.

You will do what is expected of you and them some: paper, paper, and paper, med pass, treatments, hopefully lots of hand holding, IVs. This time will pass very quickly and you'll love every minute of it. Then you'll go home? and write papers, study, and prepare for the next day. Don't forget to get your 3 hrs of sleep.

Always remember and be respectful of family members. You will find that they will be your patients also. They will never forget you so give them something wonderful to remember...

I went on rounds, you will not do rounds alone, you will work with a partner, I did a cath on a female, it was difficult because the lady was very heavy.

very stressful and scary yet rewarding
