My husband snores tremendously. Can anyone suggest something?
Question:

take your husband to see an ent (ear, nose and throat) doctor and a lung doctor (pulmonologist) as soon as possible.. there is a procedure called a uvulopalatophanyngoplasty in which the doctor 'shortens' the soft palate to stop the snoring. the main issue here is not the snoring (although it is terribly annoying to one's bedpartner) the most important and dangerous issue is the sleep apnea that usually accompanies this problem. c-pap or bi-pap will help in the meantime. good luck!

A pillow over his mouth and nose might help:)))
hit him when he wakes up tell him hes snoaring and 2 close hhis mouth
Separate bedrooms.
Ear plugs..for you.I do it and it works!
Yes, Snozering tremendously could be related to a sleeping disoder. He may want to see a Dr. just to make sure everything is ok. My father was the someway he saw a Dr. To find out he was dieing in his sleep every 10 mins. He sleeps with a Cpap now and is fine.. The snorering is gone 2.
consult on your doctor.
Good luck!! My husband snores too!! If my husband is snoring & he is on his side I usually just give him a little nudge & he quits. If he is laying on this back roll him onto his side & that usually helps.
Try those nose strips. It really does open the passage to help you breathe. You also might need to look into having him checked. He may suffer from sleep apnea which could be fatal if he stops breathing in his sleep. Think about it.
put some milk down his nose, dont put too much. The milk will unplug his half blocked air ways that make him snore. or he can do that whilst he is awake works like a charm
earplugs or those nose strip thingys on tv
Get him tested for these three things:
Gluten intolerance (adds to congestion)
Systemic yeast syndrome (Candida Albicans)
Hyperinsulinemia - can make allergies worse
In the meantime, what works for my husband (who may be all three, but definitely has gluten intolerance and hyperinsulinemia), is putting some peppermint oil on a rag near his head at night. The inhaled fumes somehow help clear his nasal passages.
