Staph infection or boil?

Question:
My family and myself have been getting boils of some kind. What do I do? I am especially concerned for my 2 year old. Please help.

Answers:
Boils are caused from a staph infection which is very contagious. You can get it from a family member by touching a towel they have used.......So one person came in contact with it and is contaminating the whole family.

All of you need to see a doctor because it won't go away on its own. DO NOT squeeze the boils. It makes them go in deeper and spread. The staph infection is very difficult to get rid of. Besides the medication you must wash EVERYTHING in very hot water. If you use a towel it has to go in the washer. When you change your clothes they have to washed immediately.
It can be a long battle.

The most important thing right now is to get to the doctor and take his directives. My daughter experienced this when she was about two years old also. It was a nightmare..........My daughter was plagued with the problem for so long that our doctor taught me how to lance the boils and care for them at home.
Good Luck to you and your family......................
see a dr immediately staph infection can kill...seriously
