phlebotomy........?

Question:

I am currently a medical assistant student in los angeles CA. I complete my 8mo course at the end of august. The thing is that i want to take a phlebotomy class that is certified by the state. I suched all over the internet - but no luck..... if there is any one out there who know where to take a phlebotomy class in los angeles please give me the information

Call the hospital, or a nursing school, they should know where you can find the classes you need.

I have seen ads on the front cover of the L.A. Times Classified section. Under medical assistant, nursing. But always on the front cover, they are small ads, and also say they are state certified.

They offer courses from time to time.

Go have some blood drawn for some reason. Ask the person that takes your blood where she was taught how to do it.

If nothing else works, contact the Red Cross. It's their life. They should have local contacts. Your in Watts? Did you check out County. They alway have a big turn over, and you may be able to get in there for your training.
