Cant get insurance for pre- existing condition and SSI denied me?
Question:

I used to work in HR years ago with benefits. Do some research on the internet about HIPAA (the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) which provides protection for working Americans and their families who have preexisting medical conditions, or who might suffer discrimination in health coverage based on factors that relate to an individual's health. Have your husband get a copy of his health insurance overview and see if preexisting conditions are not allowed. Keep in mind, also, that most employers will not let an employee add a family member to their benefits except during Open Enrollment or change in life status (like if you got married in the middle of the year and he wanted to add you). As for your pain, even if you have to pay for it yourself---DEFINTELY get some physical therapy. They will have exercises you will have to do from now on, but it will keep you from being in pain. Good luck!
Welcome to the "system" . If ya were 15 years old and had an illegitimate baby , you'd be covered
This will help with costs and will cover you, even with your pre-existing conditions. http://www.everyonebenefits.com/lmota. I hope you feel better soon :)
There's a company out there that helps people who do not have and need affordable health benefits. It includes regular office visits, any specialists and any pre-existing conditions. It basically includes everything you need help paying for. Their medical plan includes dental, vision, prescription and chiropractic benefits as well. There's no high premiums, deductibles, co-pays, waiting periods, claims forms or anything like that at all. They can save you up to 80% on your out of pocket expenses for a very small fee every month. It could end up saving you a lot of $$ over traditional insurance. Try this website and you can check out the specifics and providers in your area. http://www.everyonebenefits.com/40424269. If your provider isn't on there, he can be added. They are a wonderful company and are members of the BBB. I have benefits through them as well. Hope you find what you need. Please email me if you have any questions, and I'd be happy to help you if I can. Best of luck.
