Question:
I go to the orthodontist every month or so to get braces, but it seems every time they do soemthing. they always pull my lips so hard, like they're working on a dead person! I was wondering if this could possibly stretch my lips out to where they wont spring back? It is cartilidge after all >.<

Answers:
your lips are pretty resilient and will go back into shape.
OK so your Lips are Cartilage ?

Do you have any remotest clue as to what Cartilage actually is ?

Probably the Orthopdontist pull your lips so hard to knock some sense into you.

Lips are not Cartilage whatsoever.

Lips are a visible organ at the mouth of humans and many animals. Both lips are soft, protruding, movable, and serve primarily for food intake, as a tactile sensory organ, and in articulation of speech.

Because they have their own muscles and bordering muscles, the lips are very movable. Lips are used for eating functions, like holding food or to get it in the mouth. In addition, lips serve to close the mouth airtight shut, and to hold food and drink inside, and to keep out unwanted objects.
