Will having a tiny strand of hair in my eye cause any damage?

Question:
I was cutting my hair when this tiny strand went into my eye. Tried everything but couldn't get it out. Will it do any damage?

Answers:
could scratch your cornea leading to irritation. try rinsing it out using some contact lens solution..the kind one stores lenses in

Other Answers:
No probably not. Hair will either dissolve or work its way out.
You will bleed profusely for weeks!

It will continuously scratch your eye and give you problems
yes, it ould cause an infection and could result in being a stye. this happened to me.
yes it may block and cause inflamattion, u'd better go to see a doctor.. it happened to me once and i got slightly swollen eyes. fortunately not hat bad, he just suggested me to use steam hot water and do a lil bit of massage around your eyes
Possibly, but it might work its way out. It also depends on how long the strand is. A friend of mine had a long hair cat whose hair got into her eye and it wound around her eyeball.
