Tricyclic Anti depressants.Hav. anybody suffered side affects.?

Question: These drugs have really helped me get my life back together during the last couple of years.However,I've developed other health problems,tinnitus and gerd which are known side affects following long term use.Has anybody else sufered similarly and can they recommend alternative medication.

Thanks to the nice people at Ranbaxy for manufacturing Citalopram :p I was put on citalopram, but came off because of the side affects - memory loss and increased suicidal thoughts. Be careful
