Question:

Answers:
I'm not a nutritionist, so I cant really tell you much about the particulars of the supplement. I can however share with you some medical facts of what vitamin D does in your body and how it works. As a woman If you have a vitamin D deficiency, particularly in your older years, it can lead to osteoporosis or osteomalacia. (softening of the bones) I have read a few studies on the subject, and all of them mention vitamin D as being a major factor in those two conditions. I have also heard mention that it can stimulate your immune system. If you have a complete lack of vitamin D, chances are you aren't very healthy. To remedy this I suggest that you either begin taking a multi-vitamin supplement, or just simply step out into the sun for about 45 minutes each day. Since vitamin D is naturally produced by your skin when it is exposed to the sun.

I wish you all the best.
I think a symptom is your fingernails become pale and flat. You might also get strong urges to eat a certain food or item.
