Zits after taning? Help PLEASE?

Question:

OKay. Last night I went tanning for the first time. I 'm very fair and want to get tan for a trip I'm going on. But I only went for four mintues. Later that night I was getting ready to shower and I noticed that my back has broke out really bad. I thought it was just hormones or something but then I remebered that my older sister would break out after tanning to. Could tanning have anything to do with my back and cheast breaking out and if so how can I treat it?

Answers:
I get an itch dry red rash on my back from tanning beds. Try laying on your side or switch to a stand up bed. Stand up beds are awesome and take 1/2 the time.
They wash that plastic and it is supposed to be sterile but I am sure there are oils and residue left behind and that effects people with sensitive skin.

maybe it's hives and your are allergic to the ultra violet rays
