Yes seeing a doctor is a good idea but don't panic just yet. I can't diagnose you (there's my disclaimer), but I can tell you that what you're describing sounds like a mild heart murmer or mitrovalve prolapse (generally not serious). It could also easily be an anxiety attack.
The tip off that it wasn't necessarily a heart attack was the location of your pain: between the shoulder blades sounds like muscle tension, as opposed to the classical heart attack, which generally involves: pain felt in the chest, pain and/or numbness radiating down the arm, as well as in the jaw.
The sense of blood "draining from your head" could be that you had near-syncope (faintness) due to hyperventilation (another argument for possible anxiety attack). This could also be an indication of neurological involvement, but it's up to your doc to ascertain this.
But you really should see a doctor immediately. I could be wrong and you could have experienced a serious medical event. Again don't panic. You did not necessarily experience a heart attack.
Just relax and see what your doc says. If you experience more unusual symptoms, go to the ER. The best to you.

GO TO THE DOCTOR!
COULD BE YOUR HEART!
YOU ARE NOT OKAY!
Why didn't you go to the hospital?
Sounds like you had a mild heart attack. Go to the ER and get checked out ASAP. You could be causing further damage to your heart by delaying treatment.
sounds a little freaky.............are you smoker?
look im telling you right now, after going through 3 deaths due to heart attack in the family. dont take any chances, its your heart, you might look and act healthy but dont take the chance. go to your doctor asap.
You need to see your doctor immediately. What you experienced was a mild heart attack. If you don't get medical attention right away it could become very serious and you may not survive the next one! This same thing happened to me about 3 months ago.
GO TO THE ER!!! Please get checked out. My dad had a few mild heart attacks and just thought it was gas pains. It caused permanant damage to his heart. And if it turns out to be nothing more than some really bad gas pains(these mimic heart symptoms) then you'll at least know and can get help for that cause it can be really painful. Good luck with everything! :D
had to check out some of your other posts. lol but his one is pretty serious. if it's true. you may have the onset of asthma. you really should go see your doc. it's cardiovascular, it's a problem. the reason the "blood" feels like it's "draining" from your brain is because you're not getting enough oxygen. WHERE THE HELL ARE YOUR PARENTS!!!!! someone needs to look after you. you'r a wreck!!!!
go to heart specialist immed. dont waste time
