Has anyone gotten blod clot from a foot surgery?

I am upset that my podiatrist did not give me a blood thinner to prevent the blood clot from happening.

Yes you can get a blood clot from any kind of surgery... If your Dr. had given you a blood thinner at surgery time you would not have had to worry about a blood clot.... you could have bled to death....

Blood clots form when there is no movement in the affected area to help move the blood along in the veins. Did you follow your Drs. advise and do some exercises to keep the blood circulating and not allowing the blood to clot in the veins??

blood clots can happen after any kind of surgery.
