Mosquitos hate me?

Question:
The other night I was attacked by a single mosquito, about 5-6 times on my both my feet. 3 on one, and 2 on another, and I get the feeling another is developing on a toe. God damn, they itch. Unfortunatly I'm busy now, so I can't stop off at stores and such to buy lotions, etc.

I heard toothpaste works? But it's bad for the skin. If I use it, wash it off then apply lotion will everything be okay?

As for other stuff, I heard vinegar, and rubbing alcohol works too. Tell me about this. =o Or any other treatment that you'd think is good for these nasty bites.

Answers:
Looking at your Avatar it appears you are Oriental. In Guangzhou, China, a single mosquito does more damage than any I have ever encountered anywhere in the world. A doctor of traditional medicine told me to use ginger and rub some on my exposed skin. Let the piece of ginger soak in a small amount of alcohol an hour before use. The still bite me; but not on the exposed skin.
It was -1 in Calgary this morning, effectively ending mosquito Heaven here.
