Hey - I'm glad someone even cares about spelling! 'Appendix' is right, in both spelling and position.

It's a totally useless organ situated low down on your right hand side which sometimes becomes inflamed and infected and has to be removed.

I've often wondered if it ever, in human evolution, served a useful purpose? If anyone knows why the human body has an appendix, please let us all know!
