Medical ? what is the cost for removing a plate inserted to secure a broken leg bone? above ankle if matters?

Question: workers comp insurance wants to settle future medical costs. so I don't want to get short changed. I can figure the rest of the costs but hospitals are another world I had a outpatient surgery they wanted $10k from me without insurance but the insurance paid a lot less and I paid 10% copay of that
