Blood vessel growth?

Question:
Hi Guys, i'm in a sticky situation, my left eye has blood vessel growth because i have worn contacts for the past years non stop - with no glasses to give my eyes a rest, now i know i was stupid for not having glasses, but call it a teenager naivity (am 19 now) so yeah, i'm now banned from wearing contact lenses for 3 months, what i wanna know, is, from professional eye type of people, could i wear them, say once a month for a few hours, i have major badminton matches and i can't play in glasses, i can, but not very well, everything in glasses looks smaller, so the shuttlecock seems further away, is it too much of a risk to wear them for two hours?? thanks guys

Answers:
I would advise against it. As you said, you could play in the glasses. Probably no worse damage will be done if you were to were them ONLY FOR YOUR MATCHES ( unless, you get hit in the eyes ), but, I'm not too sure that the new vascularization will decrease if you stop wearing contacts. You should go see a retinologist to make sure that something else isn't going on, like diabetic retinopathy.
