Why can't people that have body odor smell themselves?

That is a great question. I know if I have been working out or something, I can smell myself so I know others could but I think for most people if it goes on like that day in and day out, they have smelled so bad for so long they really don't notice it.

I worked with a girl one time that reeked and I really don't think she knew it at all.

they grow accustomed to the smell gradually s it builds up and so dont smell it at full blown stench.

Most people who do not smell themselves when they have body odor are just use to the smell, or they just ignore it. It is sad to say some people in this world do not cre about personal hygene. But in rare cases some people can not smell anything at all.

that's a great question! I work with someone that smells so bad I cant be in the same room he is in!(good thing he doesnt work in my office!)

I say the same thing and after doing some research, I found out that some people don't believe in using deodorant, and others actually like the smell of body odor. It really sucks when you're trying to workout and someone on "humm" status parks them selves right next to you. I got some advise for these people!! SHOWER! SHOWER!! SHOWER! with plenty of soap & water, Not just a Damm body rinse!! Ohh and Little deodorant won't hurt.

they get immune to the smell and just don't know! they ndon't smell it any longer. tell them and they'll know!! it's not something i want to get immune to either

They are under the totem of "moufette" the skunk .to them their individual "funk" is an art form and ambient bouquet .Just feel a gratis if they don't spray you .
