Low Blood Pressure?
Question:
Answers:
There's a bit of a gap between the systolic (130) and the diastolic (52) which may be worth asking a question about. But I've lived with a diastolic of 50 for ages and regularly ask my GP about it - because you see on TV programmes people being rushed into the emergency room with a diastolic of 50 - and he says that as long as there are no other symptoms don't worry ... and everybody seems to agree with him. You might find yourself getting a little giddy when standing up suddenly, but unless you also find yourself abnormally tired or otherwise bothered I would save the question until your next check-up. Doctors worry far more about high blood pressure - strokes and all that - so I would set it aside for the moment.
The Net has some blood pressure advisory groups and you might want to google for one or two of them, but I don't think you should concern yourself. And don't allow it to rise when you read the posting from the prat who called you a moron ... if they're reading this, get a life.
That is not considered low.
