Quick Cure for Bloody Nose?

Question: I get a lot of nose bleeds and I find the best "cure" to stop the bleeding is to actually SNORT out the blood clot. I lean above the sink and snort one nostril and with the blood comes a large stickier mass of blood. Almost instantaneously the bleeding has stopped. Anyone else do this? I read a lot of people apply pressuer for 30+ minutes and tilt the head forward and or contort the body so the head is below the heart. I find the snort technique to work the best.

Its gross but I also do that. I get nose bleeds in the summer and I find bending over the sink and blowing my nose into a tissue gently gets that clot out. I get sick if the blood goes down my throat, and that happens when I tilt my head back.

the proper way is to put a tissue over the nose and tilt face forward and wait for bleeding to stop.
