i used to be an EMT for a few years. the test was easy. all i can say is you better study and know what you are doing, you have people's lives at stake. get off of here and study! if you don't know what you are doing, you shouldn't be doing it.

hey..being an EMT can be a rewarding and stressful job.After 10 years on an amb and 21 on the fire dept. the test really hasn't changed to much. you will need to study your weekly tests. Know signs/symptoms..child birth..rescue techniques..how to do vitals..circulatory system..if you have been studying you'll do fine..the hardest part for me was remembering all the ?? for child birth..practicals are fun and if you have a good class and teacher you'll do fine..trust in your first instinct
