i got bit by a spider by my eye and it looks like a big pimple?

Question:
is there anything i can do for the swelling? i went to the dr a week ago and it still hasnt gone down

Answers:
I was bit by a spider in my right arm and it was very hard to move at most times and would shake like mad just to pick up a glass or bottle of water. I lasted for about 6 to 7 months!

With your eye, did you try to put ice or heat on it? What did the doc say? You may have to just ride it out. Or go to another doc. for a second opinoin, maybe an allergic reaction?

Other Answers:
Call or go see your doctor again!
see the doctor again! spider bites are nothing to mess with.especially close to the eye!
Well if the doctor didn't prescribe anything I suggest the following:
Buy Benadryl Liquid for Allergies, don't drink it just put some on a Q-tip and put it on the bite- that helps me when I get bit.

Otherwise ask the doctor again for something.
After taking some Benadryl call your doc, she/he would want to know if it is not ok.
I don't want to scare you or anything, but a few years ago I got bit by a spider on my leg. It turned into cellulitis, which turned into a bad case of blood poisoning. I ended up spending almost a month in the hospital in isolation getting heavy I.V. antibiotics every six hours. I eventually had to have the leg operated on to drain the bite area.
A spider bite is nothing to mess around with, perhaps a trip to the emergency room should be in your near future. If you can catch it early enough, it is much more easy to deal with.
I wish you luck in getting it taken care of.
God bless!
Go to the emergency room and try hot compress till you get medical attention!
Try benadryl to help with itching you may need a steroid if it is getting bigger.whatever you do dont try to pop it. Your doctor shouldve prescribed you an antibiotic to prevent cellulitis which is a skin infection..if he didnt then i would either call him or get another doctor.
I'd be askin for a second opinion and going again! That kind of thing can't just go as is.Until you can get to the doctor say if it's the weekend or something, If it's in the corner or beside your eye like you say, and if it isn't extremely close to your eye, take a cotton swab and put a little alcohol on there and clean it as best you can, then put some kind of anti-bacterial cream on there..But I would get to a doctor as soon as I could.
