i injured my head, i nearly lost my scalp, and would like to find peoples reports on similiar injuries.?

Question: i jumped into the river and cut my scalp nearly off of my skull. i have nearly 60 staples and my scalp is now full of fluid. i just want to read from somebody who has been through this.

Answers:
When I was in nursing school my instructor had a similiar story.. Her son had an accident (I don't remember what) and had 40 staples ear to ear. He had an infection start under the staples from an allergic reaction. They removed the fluid by inserting a tube in the scalp and put him on iv antiobiotics. I hope this helps.
