I have an ear ache and I don't know what it is?

Question: I have had an ear ache on and off for a few weeks now. The hole (leading to the ear canal) is now swollen and that little part of your ear by your head (i don't know if it has a name) is tender if you touch it. It feels like it is clogged and won't open up. Do you think I have an ear infection?

yes you most likely do perhaps water in your ear that has not come out try putting a towel in the oven and getting it hot and laying your ear on it for a bit also take a sock and put salt in it and heat it in the microwave and lay your head (ear) on it .. the salt holds the hear*t in for a bit longer or if you have a heating pad use that but get looked at by a Dr. any thing going on with the ear like that could be serious.. liquid antibiotics are avail.
