Ingrown Toenail / Weird Bubble?

Question:
About 2 weeks ago I got an ingrown toenail. Ive been trimming it a bit, and it doesn't hurt so much. However, recently I got this bubbly abcess or something that's grown over the part that's ingrown. This has happened before and Ive gotten half my toenail ripped off by the doctor. Any other suggestions?

Answers:
YES! It's painful but it works.... Cut open the skin with a CLEAN pair of scissors, then take a clean sewing needle and put the end with the eye under your toenail and drag it towards the ingrown. The hole of the eye of the needle will dis-lodge the nail and it won't be infected anymore. Be sure to use CLEAN tools and put ambesol (tooth numbing(benzocaine) and neosporin and cover with a band-aid. You also may want to roll a little piece of toilet paper and stuff it under your toenail to relieve the pressure.

Other Answers:
Soak it in epsom salt 4 times a day.
Doctor, moron.
My mother gets ingrown toenails often and she does this to help prevent them and to help them grow out. She gets a tiny piece of cotton, just pull off a little bit from a cotton ball or q-tip. The with the blunt end of a needle (the eye), which she rinses with rubbing alcohol first, she will push the piece of cotton between the nail and the skin of the toe. She leaves a long enough piece of the cotton hanging out so she can remove it after a day or two and put a fresh piece in. She swears that if you put the cotton between the nail and the skin it helps to guide the nail to grown out. You probably have a little infection on your toe, I would try to get the puss out of it then soak it in Peroxide to get all the germs out, then try the cotton thing. Hope that helps.
