I have insomnia. I try to stick to a rountine so that I can trick myself into relaxing and getting ready to sleep.
Pay your bills, don't go to bed angry and get lots of exercise. Sex is a good relaxer too.

The previous advice is good but here are some other suggestions...take the TV OUT of the bedroom. Some people advise that you not read or watch anything exciting before bed.Try a guided imagery tape or CD...Do not drink anything with caffeine within 4 hours(or more) of your planned bedtime...if all else fails take some generic benadryl as that is the active ingredient in almost all OTC sleep remedies...5-htp is also good...you are getting sleepy...

Have a back massage before going to sleep!! Will cost you $$ for that unless yr g/f is a licensed massage therapist. If not a good session of love making would help! And clear your mind of all worries!!

if u dont get a good sleep u should do sm workout every day or take a bath with hot water at the time of sleep.
