Can i get an infection by pearcing my own ear?
Question:
Answers:
Yes, it could very easily.
If you're going to do your own piercings, make sure whatever you're using is completely sterile. Boil it in water or use rubbing alcohol. Also use the alchohol to sterilize your ear to make sure there's no dirt on it that could get pushed into the hole.
Seeing as you already did it though, clean it with alchohol or hydrogen peroxide right away. You might still have time to prevent infection.

what's that pierce or what...english please...
anytime you break the skin you are at risk for infection, especially if you did it in unsanitary conditions.
yes it can, even if u went to a profesional. did u use clean equiptment? go to a jewelry store. they have stuff for ears that helps with infections from piercings.
yes!!!!!!!!!!if u don't do it right
boy, u asked this question after the fact. it may be a possiblity u will become infected. i doubt i would get these question answered: but what did u use anyway? was it sterile?
Yes. It is very possible to get an infection in your ear from sticking a non-sterile needle into yourself. Such infections can lead the amputation or death. That is why a professional uses a new, sterile needle, and give very specific cleaning and hygiene instructions. Now I've heard of putting the tip in a flame or boiling it, but it is still not the same as a sterile needle made for piercings. A needle is always non-sterile unless it just came out of a package that says "Sterile Needle" on it.
Since you have already pierced your ear yourself, the best thing to do would be to keep your ear clean, and find out the proper way to maintain a new piercing from a professional source.
yes. try to wash both your earings and ear with surgical spirit. If this persists try to change your earings since it could be there matrial which is causing you this. Tip- always wash earings in surgical spirit first to avoid this! Good luck for your ears!!
Yeah of course your ear can get infected just by wearing earings without cleaning them often. If you put solution on it it may not get infected, but depending on how clean the instrument was that you used to pierce it in the first place it may still get infected. Some people's ears also get infected if they don't use real jewelry.
Keep it clean. Do not touch it without washing your hands first EVER!
Use Dial soap twice daily then twirl it.Use an ointment like A & D....I did all this and my bellyring did great...
