i have a lump on my wrist, what is it?

Question:
i noticed it a few weeks ago. it's gotten bigger and it's painful to touch.

Answers:
I would agree that it's ganglion cyst. It sounds ridiculous, but I've seen many people use a sizable book to smack it fairly hard and they go away..

Other Answers:
It's likely a ganglion cyst. It's benign. It can be surgically removed easily. You should see a doctor if it is bothering you.
Could be a cyst. Go to a doctor.
It is possibly a ganglion cyst. Have your doctor check it out. If this is what it is, it will need to be surgically remove.

My son had one.
See a doctor.
yes it is possibly a cyst. Definately see your doctor as soon as possible and Good Luck!
it could also be carpal tunnel syndrome or maybe a ganglion cyst. sometimes doctors prescribe antiinflammatory or something of that sort along with exercises to strengthen your writst. if it is bothering you real bad and is painful you should see a physician. Usually it is benign and will go away with treatment.
ganglian sist. or somthing of that kind. My Aunt has these on both wrists. It's when your nerves get bunched up after you use the computer nonstop or somthing like that. You need a surgery that will render your hand useless for about six months BUT, DO IT NOW!! My Aunt has not done it yet and she can't lift a jug of milk without being in escrutiating pain. You see, when this happens your brain sends an electrical pulse to your arm as usual and the it hits that spot and thinks your in pain because the pulse gets garbled and gets sent back to your brain that way. Thus the pain. Like I said, Don't wait on this or you'll wish you haden't.
