I agree with Native Texan on this one. I have always been told my whole life by my elders that it will travel thru the plumbing. And yes, you should shut down and unplug your computer.even if you have a surge protector, it is not a 100% guarantee..

yes it is. lightning can strike your house and the plumbing can carry the current right to you in the shower

Yes it is fine to take a shower. The only thing is you might want to light a few candles just in case you lose electricity. Nothing worse than having shampoo in your hair and the lights go out. Other than that, it is fine.

I really dont know about that. but I love storms! I wouldn't take a shower. Electricity can travel through water, and also, the pipes to get to your house are obviously metal.

i don't think its safe. so i wouldn't.
