Why do my legs hurt sometimes the next day after I drink?

Question:
I drink about 2-3 times a week and this does not happen everytime I drink. I had about 4 beers and a shot yesterday and now they hurt. I wasnt even drunk since I ate and all. I have been wasted before with no leg pain the next day. Has anyone experienced the same thing? Any ideas if its really alcohol related or if its something else? And if so, what could it be? Thanks!

Answers:
Alcohol takes a toll on your whole body, including your muscles.
The pain you feel, may be the strain on your muscles as you push yourself to go about your day as normal. Your muscles have been weakened and are in the recovery state.

It's common for people who jog to not have the strength in their legs to jog after drinking a small amount the previous night.

It can take up to 4 days for your body to completely recover from alcohol.

That being said, it may not be alcohol related, in which case, you should visit your doctor.

You could also try going at least a week without drinking to help you determine if the pain is alcohol related or not.

Because you are dehydrated.
