An arthrosis is a joint, an area whre 2 bones r attached for the prpose of motion of body parts. An arthrosis (joint) is usually formed of fibrous connective tissue nd cartilage.
Joints r grouped according to their motion: a ball nd socket joint; a hinge joint; a condyloid joint (a joint tht permits all forms of angular movement excpt axial rotation); a pivot joint; gliding joint; nd a saddle joint.
